Vladimir Morozov
Mr. Morozov is the Head of Analytical Informational Center for the Ukrainian Environmental Technology Center (UkrNTEC). His key areas of expertise include: environmental impact assessments for industrial plants; atmosphere quality assessment; hazardous air pollution sources inventories; environmental expenditures and ecofunds; development of emission norms for plants of different industries; best available technologies for industry sectors; environmental audits for heavy industries; and environmental management consulting. He was trained as a heating engineer from the Donetsk State Polytechnic Institute.
Mr. Morozov has participated in a wide range of prominent projects. In 2003, he served as the Ukrainian team leader of the World Bank Integrated Pollution Permitting Project in Ukraine. He implemented the environment and occupational health & safety management system at Interbrew production sites in Ukraine and Russia. He has worked as the Ukrainian team leader of Danish EPA project Strengthening of Environmental Funds in Ukraine. He has been the contact person of the Ukrainian partner for the EcoLinks-USAID projects "Developing Climate Change Mitigation Strategy for Donetsk" and "Development of Environmental Management System for Concern Stirol and Preparation to Certification for Compliance with ISO 14001 requirements." Mr. Morozov participated as the Ukrainian expert for the Ambient Air Quality Working Group within the World Bank project on Environmental Policy Development and Regulatory Capacity Building in Ukraine. In 1997-98, he served as the Head of the Working Group for the Tacis project "Environmental Action Plan" in Donetsk. In addition, he was the Ukrainian team leader of the Danish EPA project "Country Program for the Phase Out of Lead in Gasoline."
From 1992 until the present, Mr. Morozov has lead a number of projects on air pollution prevention policy conducted by the UkrNTEC for assignments for the Ministry for Environmental Protection of Ukraine, Ministry of Statistics, and Ministry of Industry assignments. These assignments include: Conception of Ambient Air Quality Regulation (Chemicals), Ministry for Environmental Safety of Ukraine (1999); Guidelines on Air Emissions Inventory Reporting for Industrial Facilities in Ukraine; Development of Data Base of Emission Factors for Inventories in Accordance with CORINAIR Inventory Guidance; Software Development for State Reporting in Ambient Air Protection; and Development of Regulations of Organization and Implementation of Air Emission Monitoring at Industrial Facilities.
