Definitional Mission for Hazardous Waste in China

EEA conducted a Definitional Mission for hazardous waste in China for the U.S. Trade and Development Agency.  Potential projects to develop new regional hazardous waste treatment, storage and disposal facilities in Shenyang, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Shenzhen were evaluated for technical, economic, financial and environmental feasibility, as well as for developmental impact in China and export potential in the U.S.

Regional Environmental Protection Plan for Economic Cooperation between Mongoila and China

As an independent contractor for TERA, EEA Principle, Tim Van Epp, prepared a regional environmental protection plan for the mining, transport and tourism sectors in the three eastern aimags (provinces) of Mongolia and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China as part of an economic cooperation project sponsored by the Asian Development Bank.  The plan provided a prioritized schedule of actions to mitigate the impacts of a proposed bridge and border station, and associated roadway and railway proposals, on local villages, protected natural areas and endangered species in the region.

Environmental Assessment of Proposed Aviation Infrastructure Project for Southwest China

As an independent contractor for BRISEA International and GCW Consulting, EEA Principle, Tim Van Epp conducted an enviornmental assessment of airport expansions proposed in Southwest China by the Government of China, as part of a feasibility study funded by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency.  The project involved conducting environmental audits of existing airports in Guizhou, Guiyang Province and Lijiang, Yunnan Province.
